She will spend the next 2-3 yrs focusing on her masterial study, and we may not hear anything from her for quite some time to come. She does look similar to Celilia Cheung, and I'm a BIG fan of hers. As for the previous question about Crystal's English, she moved to the U.S. with her mother at age 10, and didn't go back to China untill 2002, when she was accepted into Beijing Film Academy at age of 15. With only five years living in America at that young age she may or may not be fluent in English. But the bio I've seen lists it as one of her languages. Looking for big things out of her.

Sounded very fluent unlike some non English singers who sound learned or scripted with an accent. She sounded very natural. But she has a really extremly high pitched vibrado on that song unlike some of the other song clips I've heard of hers. It was almost like the tape had been sped up alot. Also, saw her in an interview clip with HTV-2. She was talking in English about how she liked NewYork best and that she had lived in Long Island. Maybe a little bit of accent but not alot. I'd say her English is pretty darn good. She seemed very composed in the interview. The girl is great! She's really got that 'it' quality to be a big star IMO.

And imo from certain angles she doesn resemble the young Cecilia.(that is, before Cecilia embarked on her torturous dieting regime) In regard to Yifei's english, I think I've read from somewhere that her mother has hired a Cambridge graduate as her english tutor? Though this report has never been confirmed by Yifei in person. And those video clips of Yifei speaking and singing in english sound really interesting. Do you still have the links to them? thanks.

She is arguably the most popular teen idol in China right now, but she never rush things and she is not out there to capitalize on her new found fame and popularity. Unlike other stars who bombard audience with incessant commercial endorsement and crappy soap opera/ cheap flicks, Yifei always keeps a low profile, stay out of the limelight as the best she can and has decided to take time out and returned to school campus at the height of her popularity. Despite all of these she is still one of China's most searched celebrities on chinese search engines. So instead of suffering from a burnt-out of public interest, her enigmatic life(kinda) naturally gravitates the audience's attention towards her. This takes some real planning and career strategy.

Don't know exact dates. Word is that she's already confirmed to star in a movie called "Wuxia Liangzhu". The other movie is one starring the two J's (Jackie Chan and Jet Li) It's to be called "Gong Fu Zhi Wang" (King Of Kung Fu). I don't think she's confirmed doing this one yet. But I'd bet she will. Jet Li and Jackie Chan have been wanting to do a movie together for awhile so I understand. That should be goooood!

Wuxia Liangzhu () is also based on another Chinese classic (often refered to as -liangzhu).

Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh have already agreed to be in it. The movie will start filming in China in August. She and Jet Li are still working on 'Forbidden Kingdom' so it'll be a tight schedule. We'll see. This girl is really getting alot of offers lately for being so early in her career. Good for her.

I don't know if Liu Yifei has a botfriend or not. As for the rumor about the abortion. I suspect that it's just that, a rumor. If it can't be confirmed then it stays as a rumor. On a new movie, the latest I've heard is that Liu Yi Fei definitly has a part in the movie Forbidden Kingdom as Golden sparrow. It's 'rumored' that she is being considered for a part in the Mummy 3 movie as possibly a tomb guard or some minor role. I've yet to hear anymore about that though. That won't begin fiming till later in the year.
