"Oh, listen to Mary Poppins. He's got his crust all stiff and upper with that nancy-boy accent. You Englishmen are always so... Bloody hell. Sodding, blimey, shagging, knickers, bullocks. Oh, god. I'm English.

I'm still not sure whether tanuki are either bad or neutral in Japanese folklore. Eitherway, Ziyi looks cute.

Ziyi is wonderful in that movie. It was sweet to listen to her speaking her japanese lines and her singign weren't that bad this time. I couldn't stop laughing about this weird story. To leave in the tanuki Goten, sure it's paradise with a princess like that. We can't say that Ziyi chose to play in this movie because of character's depth But she was good to show the spirit of the movie. But I would chose that movie as a proof of Ziyi's great acting skill. And Ziyi is mischevious in the boat scene (and really cute in that hat): "Raccoon broth is best!" I've watched it any number of times, and it's a great deal of fun. And it seems the later parts with the band and dancing is directly inspired by The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour".
