Posts: 7 (05/30/05 23:00:10) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None I saw on the net that her height is 164 cm but my friend had a picture with her when he saw her 2 months ago and she was taller than him.He is 167 and she was without heels.He asked her for her height and she said that she is 172 cm.Do you think that she is really that tall?

Since I did not meet her in person, I can't tell for sure how tall she is. My impression is that her height is about 164-165cm. I know some Chinese actresses are 170-172cm tall who appear to be higher than Ziyi on screen.

So, I checked Sina's Ziyi Page, which is linked on the main page of her site (Sina hosts HelloZiyi). They say she's "1.64m", which 164 cm.

I can't seem to find a pic of Ziyi's shoes at this event, but I'm very sure she was wearing high heels, which may explain why she appears taller than Jet Li.

As an example, here are Ziyi and Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima, who's 5' 10' (178 cm)... Neither is wearing high heels, and it looks to me like Adriana really is about 14 cm (5.5") taller, so Ziyi is 164 cm. Nothing wrong with that, it's just the truth.

I don't know if any of you saw but there was this thing on espn about Hero when it came out in U.S. theaters and it showed Ziyi and Jet together and Ziyi looked taller. But she was probably wearing heels in that clip. Have no idea why it was on espn though lol.

Gong Li is taller than Ziyi, and Gong Li is about 168cm. Maggie is taller than Ziyi, and she is about 170cm. Faye Wong (about 172 cm) is taller than Ziyi. All of them are in the same movies with Ziyi, so you can compare.
